Description
CD123, encoded by the IL3RA gene, is a type I membrane protein expressed by hematopoietic stem cells and a subset of leukocytes including monocytes, B cells and basophils. CD123 binds to CD131 to form the receptor for the cytokine interleukin-3. CD123 is expressed in a variety of hematological cancers including acute myeloid leukemia (AML). ProMab's PM-CAR1105 primary human CAR-T cells express an anti-CD123 CAR containing a CD123-specific scFv, hinge and transmembrane domains, the 4-1BB costimulatory domain and the CD3zeta activation domain.
