BCMA CAR-T cells (BCMA scFv-TM-41BB-CD3z)
BCMA (B cell maturation antigen) is a type III membrane protein encoded by the TNFRSF17 gene and expressed on mature B cells and plasma cells. BCMA binding to TNFSF13B/BAFF results in activation of the NF-κB and MAPK8/JNK signaling pathways. BCMA is highly expressed in malignant plasma cells and currently serves as an excellent therapeutic target for multiple myeloma.
ProMab's PM-CAR1037 primary human CAR-T cells express an anti-BCMA CAR containing a BCMA-specific scFv, hinge and transmembrane domains, the 4-1BB costimulatory domain and the CD3zeta activation domain. The CAR-T cells are generated by transducing activated human T cells with replication-defective lentivirus encoding the CAR. After expansion, the cells are cryopreserved and shipped in vials containing up to 10 million cells. For orders over 10 million cells, please inquire. All ProMab cells are guaranteed to be sterile, pathogen-free and mycoplasma-free.
